FUM06 Ultrasonic Flowmeter｜Accurate Flow Measurement Without Cutting Pipes
Measuring liquid flow doesn’t always require cutting into the pipeline. Ultrasonic technology can “listen” through the pipe wall to detect fluid velocity, enabling safer measurements without interrupting production.
Traditional flow meters need direct contact with the fluid, often requiring shutdowns or pipe modifications during installation. FUM06 adopts the transit-time ultrasonic principle, using a clamp-on sensor that transmits and receives sound waves outside the pipe. By calculating the difference in travel time of the sound waves through the fluid, it determines flow velocity and volumetric flow.
This non-intrusive design not only eliminates the need to dismantle pipes but also supports a wide range of liquids — making it ideal for monitoring cooling water, industrial circulation water, wastewater, and energy recovery systems.
