1 year eTRIKE platform scooter - a success story
Innovative mobility solution inspires industry and logistics
A year ago, FATH GmbH took over the Euroscooter from isel-autmation GmbH and set a milestone for industrial mobility solutions. Today, after twelve months of intensive further development, the scooter, now known as the eTRIKE platform scooter, has established itself as a versatile and forward-looking solution for industry and logistics.
When the management of FATH GmbH became acquainted with the Euroscooter over a year ago, they recognized its great potential for industry and logistics. The electrically powered three-wheeler offers a sophisticated combination of stability, efficiency and transportability. Speeds of 8 to 15 km/h and the option of road approval make the eTRIKE the ideal means of transportation both indoors and outdoors. The scooter even allows the use of a standard passenger lift. In discussions with customers and partners, many further developments have been made over the last 12 months.
Milestones of the first year
1. March 2024 - Successful appearance at LogiMAT
At LogiMAT 2024, the leading trade fair for intralogistics, FATH presented the eTRIKE platform scooter under its new brand for the first time. Visitors were impressed by its flexible usability and technical features. The presentation met with great demand, especially from companies in the logistics and manufacturing industries.
2. Technological development for the shopfloor
Over the course of the year, the eTRIKE platform was specifically optimized for more demanding operating conditions. Technical improvements, such as foamed tires and abrasion-resistant tires, make the scooter ideal for the shopfloor and demanding industrial environments.
3. Advanced areas of application
The versatility of the eTRIKE platform scooter was demonstrated in a variety of applications by FATH customers:
• Mobile workstation for intralogistics
• Facility services and cleaning
• Optimization of work processes on extensive industrial areas
A look into the future
FATH is planning further technological upgrades and extensions to the eTRIKE platform scooter in the coming months. Additional features are to be developed to enable use in even more complex working environments. In doing so, FATH is pursuing the goal of making working environments safer, more efficient and more ergonomic.
"The eTRIKE platform scooter is more than just a product for us - it is a milestone for mobility in the industry. We look forward to continuing its success story," says Michael Honisch, Head of Shopfloor and Intralogistics.
