FDI launches new controller

The main advantage of this type of system, as developed by FDI, is the reduction in installation time. In the case of a traditional network access system, each controller must be wired to a single network. With Easydoorcontroller, the controller and the reader simply need to be placed in the desired location and connected to the electricity supply. The keys are programmed directly through the website via an encoder, which is connected to the computer: subsequently, the keys themselves transmit data to the controllers regarding access profiles and the programming of doors.

With the Easydoorcontroller system, which is based in the Cloud, there is no need to install software onto a computer: a simple internet connection is enough. This saves programming time and eliminates compatibility issues with the client existing operating system.

Once the simple online registration has been completed, the keys can be programmed. Should the computer be stolen or encounter technical problems, no data is lost thanks to the secure and automatic storage of the data on an FDI server.

It is possible to replace one or more keys remotely by cancelling the selected key via the online account and programming its replacement key which, from its first use on the door, will instantly delete the old key.
