New “TOP” Cartesian Arm

They can be used with any type of tool with a diameter up to 50 mm and weight up to 11 kg, they can be clamped to the surface or upper structure of the operating area by means of a solid base, guaranteeing:

• operations without any oscillation

• no force in holding the tool

• fluid and smooth movements

• no reaction to the operator's hand

• maintenance of a correct wrist position.

The TOP cartesian arms are also available with a “flag” opening from 0 to 120° to cover large work areas with maximum ergonomics.

Auxiliary grip is new accessory to use with electric or air screwdrivers with automatic screw feeding.

It can be installed on Fiam Cartesian arms in different positions, it allows a correct grip at any point the arm is operating, avoiding unsuitable positions of the hand-arm system.

DOES THE OPERATIONAL LAY-OUT COMPROMISE THE SAFETY OF THE HAND-ARM SYSTEM?

Fiam’s new universal clamp is suitable for work points placed on vertical or inclined surfaces.

It can be used with pistol, angled or open head tools, it promotes a wide operational range and a good position of the hand-arm system.

FOR EASY TIGHTENING ON ONLY TWO DEFINED AXES: HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL

The anti-rotation device, specific for Fiam Cartesian arms, prevents arm rotation to the right or left with respect to an identified position and allows you to operate exclusively vertically and along the single horizontal axis.

Ideal when there are side walls or in the presence of jigs as the operator can thus work only on two defined axes.
