A wellness opportunity for Fiam employees.

Mental and physical well-being and the general health of employees is more than ever a key issue today: people who are physically and mentally well are more satisfied and therefore happier people; happier people are more productive, motivated, and proactive people in both life and work.

That is why Wellbeing - or wellness - is a topic we all hear about more and more, including in the workplace context where, by "Workplace Wellbeing", we identify corporate welfare policies that involve mind, body and emotional sphere.

As a result, the Latin locution "Mens sana in corpore sano" remains always relevant in this context, giving even more value today to movement and body care, also in relation to an increasing attention to the peace of mind.

As we believe that attention to these aspects is of absolute importance, Fiam has decided to continue the path which started last year with the initiative "Healthy Workers, Healthy Company," by joining a new physical activity project proposed by the Department of Medicine of the University of Padua.

This is an interesting opportunity consisting of postural gymnastics and exercise sessions specifically for the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders, taught by qualified instructors from the University of Padua itself, with classes held via Zoom twice a week.

Fatigue at the desk or, on the contrary, repetitiveness of movements, can be stressful situations in the long run, which will be in this way alleviated by simple and effective exercises, designed by specialist instructors, with movements aimed at prevention.

An initiative that therefore becomes part of Fiam's "Workplace Wellbeing" activities: to continue to be ever closer to the needs of its employees, with a program carried out free of charge, in this case extendable also to the family members of participants who wish to join.
