Flexible assembling in modern production processes

The flexible assembling in modern production processes" is a workshop which took place in Fiam’s headquarters in Vicenza on 22nd of June, 2015 - a training event addressed to production companies who need to improve their assembling processes in terms of productivity and competitiveness.

Prof. Maurizio Faccio of the University of Padua (Aggregate Professor. PhD, Eng Logistic and Industrial Plants) presented an interesting study on the appropriate design of flexible production systems with focus on the logics of supplying phases and setting of the tightening stations.

In addition to the professor’s presentation, there were presented successful case studies of three Italian companies, leaders in their field, with whom Fiam built up a synergy in order to answer efficiently to the needs of industrialized companies: to have an expertise and a technological benchmark on which they can rely for development of highly competitive solutions.

More than 50 companies, which took part to the workshop from all northern Italy, appreciated both high technical content of the reports, and the practical approach provided by the case histories.

The conference documents, including the presentation of Professor Faccio, are available in English and can be requested directly in Fiam at: customerservice@fiamairtools.com
