Fully Battery Operated Pipe Robot TROGLOTREK Got a Motorized Drum for Even Easier Operation.

Robotic pipe crawler TROGLOTREK now comes with a motorized cable drum. This ensures consistent cable tension and a smoother operation. The crawler is truly portable and can be used for inspections in pipes from 4" in diameter and up to 984 feet.

Inspection with a robotic crawler in larger pipes has its quirks. In particular, longer cables sometimes tend to twist and get entangled, making it difficult to feed them forward or up. The new motorized drum on TROGLOTREK inspection systems solves this issue at its root. The new motorized drum provides stable and consistent cable tension at all times, which makes operation seamless. Coupled with the compact size of the crawler and its full portability, this makes TROGLOTREK the crawler of choice, especially when a job needs to be done by just one operator and without access to an external power source. In addition, the whole system is so compact that it does not require a dedicated truck and more than one technician to handle it.

By way of overview, TROGLOTREK pipe robot consists of a cable reel with a control hub and a pan-and-tilt camera head installed on an all-wheel drive steerable tractor that moves the cable along the pipe. Although the unit has locking wheels of different diameters, and an extension wheelset for extra-large pipelines is available on request. A few valuable add-ons, including a wifi module and extra powerful auxiliary lights, are available optionally.

With the new upgrade, TROGLOTREK pipe robot is undoubtedly one of the handiest inspection tools on the market in its category.
