New Compact Borehole/Well Camera is Available at Fiberscope.net

The STRAHL Well Camera is a reliable and cost-effective inspection system for water and oil wells, shafts, mines and caves.

Fiberscope.net has launched sales of a new STRAHL Borehole/Well Camera with an extra-long cable and a waterproof camera head equipped with two integrated CCD cameras. One provides lateral view and features 360-degree endless rotation, while the other ensures straight view down the hole. The cable is placed on a motorized reel with adjustable speed. Cable length options include 200 m (656 ft.), 300 m (984 ft.) and 500 m (1640 ft.). The cable and the camera head are waterproof and capable of withstanding water pressure of up to 50 bar.

The control unit of the inspection system boasts an oversize 10’’ high-res display, a built-in Wifi-module, a digital depth counter, a microphone and a compass. The latter feature indicates the relative location of the camera head on the display at any given time during the inspection. A specially developed Android application allows establishing a connection with the camera within a 100 meter range.

The system has recording capabilities, and the captured photo or video files are stored either on an integrated 128GB hard drive or on a removable USB stick. The system control interface is intuitive and very easy to operate. Compact and sturdy design, affordable price and flexible features make this borehole camera stand out among comparable inspection systems.
