New Full HD Videoscope C50: Focus on Image Quality

Solid and robust high resolution videoscope capable of producing 1280x720 pixels images for captured files. Tungsten braided waterproof probes with titanium tips are available in the range of 2 meters to 10 meters in length.

Fiberscope.net has announced a new arrival to its high-end borescope product line - the high-resolution C50 Full HD Videoscope. This inspection system, featuring 4-way articulating insertion probes, offers a wide selection of lengths varying from 2 meters (6.5 ft.) up to 10 meters (32.8 ft.). The probe diameters to choose from are 4.8mm (0.19"), 6mm (0.24”) and 8mm (0.31”). The bending angle of the titanium tip naturally depends on the length, with 160 degrees in shorter probes and 120 degrees in longer ones. All probes are waterproof and protected with a quadruple tungsten braiding for added longevity. The probe tip is equipped with built-in LED lights delivering 100,000 lux and controlled via 7-step brightness settings.

The inspection is displayed on a large 5’’ color sunlight readable screen. The videoscope features a real-time x4 zoom and partial x8 image enlargement for detailed inspections. The still photo and video files captured during the inspection are saved on an SD card. Menu options permit various operations with captured files, such as viewing, deletion, name assignment, and name change, adding notes and time stamp. Photos may be taken even when a video recording is on. Three rechargeable Li-ion batteries power up the unit and are good for up to 4.5 hours of portable use.

Due to its particular focus on image quality, the C50 Full HD Videoscope is especially useful for detailed inspections where the color or texture of the surface or tiny irregularities have critical significance. Its solid design, compact size and light weight (1.35 kg or about 4 lbs.) make it suitable for diverse types of inspections in such areas as aviation, industrial machinery, and power generation.
