34 Series, Finder starts with production of cardboard packaging

Finder’s 34 Series: Introduction of cardboard sleeve packaging

For Finder, sustainability has always been one of the cornerstones in the company's research and development processes. In the knowledge that the transition to a climate-neutral economy is an attainable goal, supporting the fight against climate change is one of Finder’s priorities.

One of the areas in which Finder has taken action in order to protect the environment is the transition from plastic to cardboard packaging. The plastic sleeves for 34 Series ultra-slim PCB relays will be replaced by cardboard packaging once the current stock has been used up.

As part of its effort to protect the environment, Finder will replace the plastic packaging of the 34 Series ultra-slim PCB relays with cardboard once the plastic stock has been depleted. The cardboard packaging will feature a window to display the product, its code, a packaging label, and how many pieces are in each case.

Finder has committed to sustainability by investing in raw materials and packaging with a low environmental impact and using recycled materials. This pushes Finder further towards reducing CO₂e emissions, reducing waste, and reducing the consumption of natural resources according to the expectations of the global market.

Conserving natural resources, protecting the environment and reducing the impact on the climate are fundamental goals of all of the Finder Group's activities.

In support of this idea, more than half of the energy used within Finder’s main production facility in Almese, Italy comes from renewable sources, respecting the surrounding environment. The company's infrastructure is also designed and built following energy-saving and thermal insulation criteria, and an increasing share of the company's car fleet consists of BEVs, PHEVs and MHEVs.

Finder's attention to sustainability has been universally recognized over the years with the achievement of several certifications, the result of a management approach based on the principles of innovation, rationalization of information systems and flexibility in order to achieve maximum efficiency.
