In line with its vision, FITT will introduce two PVC-free single-material concepts for the wind turbine blade manufacturing process: a hose for creating vacuum and a hose for the pressurised flow of resin.
The two concepts have a lower environmental impact, in process of certification, and also better end-of-life management, due to the fact that by being PVC-free they can be disposed of in energy recovery plants.
Solutions already used in the moulds of wind turbine blade infusion processes complete the offer:
-FITT Metalflex, the hose with steel spiral for vacuum creation
-FITT Refittex Crystal, the polyester-reinforced hose for the flow of pressurised resin in moulds
-FITT Cristallo Extra, the hose for the flow of non-pressurised resin
