A breath of fresh air at Tecnargilla with GreenBlow!

Green Blow is the new FM centrifugal blower specially designed and built for the use on ceramic lines, in particular for cleaning and cooling tiles at the input of the digital printers.

Green Blow can however also be used in other industrial sectors when it is necessary to cool/clean items and/or devices. An analysis of market needs and the use of the latest design technology and simulation made it possible to obtain significant benefits and improvements in several areas compared to the previous solutions and to competitors.

Green Blow features a 25% higher flow rate values compared to the previous model, although with a smaller engine. The new blower also allows to reach an air speed peak about 28% higher than the previous one: a high exit speed is crucial for an effective tiles cooling. The optimization of the diffuser shape - adjustable with inclinations of 10 ° to 45 ° - allows a greater uniformity of the air flow, a real "air knife" along the entire width of the tile.

A better efficiency was achieved by optimizing components fluid dynamics that complies with the strict limits imposed by EU regulation that will come into force on 2015. Thanks to this improvement, it was possible to reduce the size of the motor to 0.37 kW, resulting in a drop of electricity consumption and a decrease in weight by over 40% compared to the previous model.

The fluid dynamics optimization of components and the new 620mm diffuser have also allowed to reduce by 40% the noise produced by the machine while working.

Green Blow ensure a complete interchangeability with previous models and very quickly replacement time on the existing line, thanks to the fastening of the case to the line and to the diffuser which remained unchanged. The replacement is even simpler and faster due to weight balance which avoid the overturning of the blower once that fixing screws have been removed.

Green Blow will be officially launched at Tecnargilla 2014 in Rimini (September 22 to 26, Pav C1 – Stand 001). Rimini Exhibition will be the last stage of the 40th anniversary celebrations of FM.
