Meler develops a new range of HotMelt Roller Coaters and PUR adhesives

Meler Gluing Solutions has therefore created a range of HotMelt Roller Coaters, a precise and reliable solution to meet the demands of the car industry in a lasting and professional way.

Meler''s series of roller coaters is conceived for Hot Melt thermoplastic and PUR/POR adhesives and has an independent temperature control for each element, i.e., for the tank, the application roller and the scrapers.

Thanks to its laminating widths from 350 to 1050mm, it adapts perfectly to every application, thus contributing to optimising production and guaranteeing the quality of the customers'' products.

The application roller is made in tempered steel with a carbon lining, and is suitable for textile and pvc + foam fabrics. The unit''s steel structure prevents vibrations.

The main parts of the machine also have non-stick treatments to make cleaning easier.

The tank features a sealed lid and a dry air injection system that keeps the adhesive in optimum working conditions. Meler also supplies an anti curing system for short production stops. This system consists in a tray with a dry air filling system that protects the PUR adhesive on the roller against possible curing that may occur during short production stops. The main control panel is very intuitive and easy to use. The control board features different programs for an automatic equipment heating, saving costs and maintenance.

The roller coaters must be accompanied by pre-melters. Meler has a wide range of products suitable for guaranteeing the proper operation of the installation, such as the Drum unloader PS20 and PS200, the tank melters Macro 50, Macro 100.
