FPI Portable GC-MS Supports Emergency VOCs Onsite Monitoring

On March 1, 2022, two portable gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) standards promulgated by the Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MOE) came into effect.

This standard applies to the on-site emergency determination of toluene and other 52 volatile organic compounds in the ambient air around the site of an environmental emergency, and other volatile organic compounds can also be qualitatively analyzed and concentrated.

FPI's self-developed EXPEC-3500 portable gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer (GC-MS) participated in the standard method validation work organized by the standard validation unit. It has been verified that the detection indexes of EXPEC-3500 GC-MS fully meet the analytical test requirements of the standard, and the detection results are accurate and reliable.
