FPI Explores the Future of Cognitive Healthcare at the 87th China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF)

The 87th China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF) opened on 14 May at the National Convention and Exhibition Centre (Shanghai).

The exhibition is a trendsetter in the global medical device industry and a "top tier" medical event, with brand representatives from more than 20 countries and regions from around the world showcasing sophisticated products spanning the entire industry chain and a large number of cutting-edge technologies.

At this year's exhibition, FPI's life science segment, represented by its own brands such as EXPECLIN, GenWish, GETOTEC, and POWCLIN, showcased its advancements and achievements in the life science field by showcasing a number of innovative localized products and solutions.

The FPI booth was inundated with international experts and consumers. Everyone unanimously approved and applauded the exhibited products which included the PreMed 5200 liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry system, GeneTOF 3100 nucleic acid mass spectrometry system, ClinCap 1000 fully automated capillary electrophoresis instrument, and MSFLO benchtop mass spectrometry flow cytometer among a few.

Focusing on clinical diagnosis, EXPECLIN, a subsidiary of FPI Life Sciences, has independently developed the PreMed 5200 liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry detection system, the PreMed 7000 trace element analyser, and the PreMed 3500 fully automated pre-treatment system. It can be used for the detection of clinical fluids and the monitoring of amino acids, vitamins, exogenous pharmaceuticals, hormones, human trace elements, toxic and detrimental elements, and human trace elements. The PreMed 5200 liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry detection system has multiple fundamental technologies with independent intellectual property rights and is included in the innovative products and high-quality Hangzhou product catalogue of the 2022 New Manufacturing Industry Plan.

GenWish, a subsidiary of FPI Life Sciences, owns the intellectual rights of the GeneTOF series of nucleic acid mass spectrometry analysis systems. It provides customers with comprehensive solutions including instruments, consumables, reagents, and software for the analysis of gene loci related to birth defect prevention and control, drug genomes, tumours, infectious diseases, and other fields.

GETOTEC, a fully-automated capillary electrophoresis instrument, ClinCap 1000, with independent intellectual property rights under FPI Life Sciences, was designed specifically for clinical detection and is used to detect multiple myeloma, thalassemia, and diabetes; The fully automated single-molecule fluorescence immunoassay analyser SimFlo 1000 utilises cutting-edge technology to perform digital protein quantification with an accuracy in the ranges of femtograms per milliliter. It is crucial for the identification of novel biomarkers, the diagnosis of diseases such as Alzheimer's, and the biological analysis of drug development processes.

POWCLIN, a subsidiary of FPI's Life Sciences division, has developed its own cell analysis-focused SFLO series of full-spectrum flow cytometers and MSFLO benchtop mass spectrometry flow cytometers. The SFLO series is applicable to a wide range of laboratory applications, including blood, tumour, immunophenotyping, pharmacology testing, cell biology analysis, bioengineering, pharmacology, medical research, haematology, analysis of intracellular antigenic substances, biosafety testing, blood and cell analysis, and tumour cell DNA/RNA content analysis.

At this year's exhibition, FPI actively interacted with experts and customers to discuss the applications and future prospects of clinical mass spectrometry, molecular diagnostics, biochemical immunology, flow cytometry, and other medical industry fields.

FPI will continue to adhere to the principle of "safeguarding human life and health care" in the future, actively explore the market in the field of life sciences, prioritize independent research and development, overcome technical barriers continuously, and contribute to the growth of the medical industry.
