Zhuozhou, Hebei has recently been hit by heavy rainfall, causing huge floods. Flooding have damaged water supply facilities and sewage discharge, leaving behind a high concentration of floating debris and animal carcasses, leading to the deterioration of water quality. This has severely impacted the safety of drinking water for local residents.

Mobile Water Quality Testing Laboratories:with flexible movement and accurate detection

A number of mobile water quality monitoring laboratories were dispatched to Zhuozhou for flood disaster by FPI, fully equipped with the vehicle-mounted ICP-MS, GC-MS, LC-MS and other analysis monitoring equipment, which has been in operation since 2019,capable of measuring a total of 145 indicators related to regulatory standards, including conventional pollutants, microorganisms, organic matter and heavy metals.

FPI mobile water quality testing laboratories use the form of mobile vehicles,which allows them to travel around different regions to provide services flexibly. Related supporting monitoring equipment can test the effluent of emergency equipment and provide water quality monitoring services for the restoration of water supply. What’s more, when encountering water source pollution accidents,emergency water quality testing services vehicle provided is convenient for the water plant to adjust the process in time to provide emergency water

Measuring components: Water quality routine parameters: water temperature,pH,Dissolved oxygen, conductivity, COD, ammonia nitrogen,cyanide, total phosphorus, total nitrogen, etc. Biological indicators of water quality: biological acute concentrations, E. coli concentrations, blue-green algae concentrations, etc.
