Customer Stories: FPI Collaborates with SEOJIN VINA for Continuous Emission Monitoring System CEMS-2000 Project

CEMS-2000 Boosts Flue Gas Measurement

It's time for our customer case sharing again. Here shares one story concerning about our successful collaboration with SEOJIN, one important supplier of the renowned Samsung Group in South Korea, for the implementation of a Continuous Emission Monitoring System CEMS-2000 project in Vietnam. SEOJIN’ s residency in Vietnam is situated in Bac Giang Province, called Seojin Vina, which was established in 2014, primary responsible for the production of iron, cast iron, and steel.

In the process of producing iron and steel, a high amount of industrial waste is generated, and often such waste is disposed of by incineration, which produces a large amount of emissions such as SO2, NOx, dust, etc. According to the latest regulations in Vietnam, there are certain targets for the emission of factory emissions, and the client's goal is to test the emissions of the factory to see if they comply with the regulations of the Environmental Protection Agency to achieve the purpose of protecting the environment.

According to customer’s need, FPI provided state of the art CEMS-2000 system. The whole set of solutions, in addition to the analyzer, it is equipped with the corresponding control box, blowback box, probe, which is installed in the picture on the chimney of the incinerator. The sample will be directly extracted to the analyzer installed in the cabinet which occupies an area of only 9 square meters to detect. The whole design is streamlined and convenient, at the same time to achieve high efficiency.

CEMS-2000 is a state-of-the-art emission monitoring solution developed by FPI. Equipped with advanced sensing technologies and intelligent data analysis capabilities, the system ensures real-time measurement and analysis of multiple pollutants generated during the incineration process. It provides accurate and reliable data on emissions, including carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide(CO2), sulfur dioxide (SO2), nitrogen oxide (NOx), particulate matter, and other relevant parameters.

The implementation of the CEMS-2000 system enables SEOJIN to effectively monitor and control emission levels, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and promoting sustainable manufacturing practices. FPI is proud to have contributed to SEOJIN’ s commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainability.

“We are extremely pleased to have partnered with SEOJIN on this significant project,”said Ryan Ke, head of the South-East Asia region at FPI. “Our advanced CEMS-2000 technology has allowed SEOJIN to effectively measure and analyze emissions, aligning their operations with stringent environmental standards. This collaboration demonstrates the positive impact that technology-driven solutions can have on sustainable manufacturing practices.”

As the success story unfolds in Vietnam, FPI remains committed to working closely with clients worldwide to enable them to meet their environmental goals and create a greener future.
