Zero Center mode in Dual Absolute® systems

The Dual Absolute technology

Through revolutionary Dual Absolute® technology, ForTest combine the simplicity of a classic absolute-decay system with the precision and sensitivity of a differential system, bringing leak testing instrument technology to a new level.

Four new testing modes :

1. Dual Absolute

2. Absolute pressure decay

3. Differential pressure decay

4. Zero Center

In "Zero Center" mode, a Dual Absolute® equipment is able to perform the test on 2 pieces simultaneously. Thanks to this mode it is therefore possible to double productivity.

The test performs a difference on the decay of the 2 pieces and determines which of the two is "OK" or "NOT OK".

With the use of two systems with absolute pressure decay, it is possible to intercept even the case in which the two pieces have an identical loss whose difference would give 0.

This last condition with a normal differential pressure decay systems is not possible to be intercepted, with high risks for leakage control in production.

In anomalous cases like these, the instrument will extend the test time in order to measure (in absolute pressure drop mode) the actual leakage in both pieces under test and give a reliable result.
