Backup power supply for a pumping station in Réunion
Two GELEC Energy LION 440 and 550 kVA generator sets installed to secure the power supply of a water treatment plant, each dedicated to a supply point and controlled by its own remote transfer switch.
GELEC Energy selected two diesel generator sets from the LION range, a LION 440 kVA and a LION 550 kVA, installed in a soundproofed canopy version. Each set is dedicated to a separate supply point of the plant and sized to cover the load of the zone it backs up: the LION 550 kVA for the most demanding station, the LION 440 kVA for the second.
This separation reflects a clear operating principle: each critical process has its own backup source, with no dependency on the other.
