A new French Standard for the measurement of water content in petroleum products!

GESERCO, leader in lubricant condition monitoring, is proud to announce the release of the new French Standard AFNOR NF-T60-640 which advocates the use of one of its flagship products: the PreciWaterTest™.

In June 2018, AFNOR, the French national body for standardization, has released a new standard NF-T60-640 concerning the determination of water content in petroleum products, lubricants, highly additived oils and lubricating greases.

The GESERCO PreciWaterTest™ is the reference instrument for meeting this standard as it strictly conforms to any of its requirements.

The measurement of water content with the PreciWaterTest™ applies to a broad range of petroleum derived products as well as any non volatile liquid, even in the tiniest proportions and when they are heavily loaded with additives:

- Mineral oils and petroleum distillates (engine oils, fuel oils, brake fluids, gearbox oils…)

- Synthetic oils and lubricants

- Bio lubricants and bio fuel

- Vegetable oils

- Aromatic fluids

- Alcohols

- Solid products soluble in petroleum base solvent (greases…)
