New approaches to vibration testing

gfai tech invites you to its live webinar “WaveCam: Transforming video into vibration insights” on September 3rd, 2025

When small vibrations matter: revealing the invisible
What happens when a car door flexes in the wind or a tire deforms slightly at high speed?
In real-world engineering, these tiny, often invisible deformations can have a major impact on safety, durability, and performance.
WaveCam by gfai tech captures such deformation dynamics from simple video recordings – whether it’s structural vibrations in a car door at 140 km/h, or a barely visible resonance in rotating machinery.
These insights support better material decisions, improve structural designs, and help reduce wear or vibration-induced failure across a wide range of industries.
A new way to analyze vibration – with video only
WaveCam transforms ordinary video footage into detailed vibration insights – no sensors or cables required.
The software evaluates each pixel in the video as an individual virtual measurement point. It tracks motion over time and creates clear 2D or 3D animations of even the smallest deformations – across thousands of points simultaneously.
Whether using a smartphone or a high-speed camera: video becomes vibration data. Fast, flexible, and highly visual.
Application examples:
• Analyzing structural deformation in car doors and tires
• Prototype and production testing
• Condition monitoring in industrial machinery
• Civil engineering and infrastructure diagnostics
• R&D and FEM simulation workflows
