GFC worm wheel sets are used worldwide.

We produce in compliance with the lean manufacturing principle. Our machine pool has been optimally adapted to the central production steps, i.e. turning, milling and grinding. Quality assurance is supported by state-of-the-art non-destructive test procedures. Some of the measuring equipment used has been specially designed for GFC.

- Splines in accordance with DIN 3976 (flank shape K), right-handed Version

- Quality in accordance with DIN 3974: worm shaft 6, worm wheel 7,

- Worm shaft made of 16MnCrS5, case-hardened and ground

- Worm wheel made of high quality wear-resistant centrifugally cast or continuous cast bronze

The worm sets are operable in both rotation directions. We guarantee that similar worm shafts and worm wheels can be replaced if they have not yet been run in. This does not apply to worm wheel sets with reduced gear backlash. Such wheel sets are adjusted to the actual dimension of the housing-centre-point distance and labelled in pairs.
