On a roll: GGR Group sells G20 Pick and Carry crane to Kimberly-Clark

Kimberly-Clark has been manufacturing and selling products since 1870 and is responsible for some of the world''s most recognisable brands including Kleenex, Andrex and Huggies. It was Kimberly-Clark that first put toilet paper on a roll way back in the 1890s.

The G20 is the smallest crane in the range and one of GGR Group''s most popular models. It is battery powered with zero emissions making it an ideal choice for indoor or compact spaces. The G20 operates with very little noise which is especially useful when working in enclosed environments. Its manoeuvrability and 2 tonne lifting power make it a practical alternative to a fork lift. With a 5.3 maximum lifting height the G20 can quickly pick, carry and place loads thanks to its 180° rear drive.

The G20 crane was delivered to Kimberly-Clark''s Kent depot and will be used in their manufacturing facility. Five Kimberly-Clark staff completed familiarisation training with GGR Group Trainer Adrian Richardson; all were impressed with the versatility of the G20 commenting that there were many jobs that the G20 will be used for at the depot.

GGR Group''s Adrian Richardson handed the keys to Project Manager, Mr Terry, who was delighted with the new addition. Mr Terry said, ‘‘I am very happy to add the G20 to our fleet, after seeing what it can do I am impressed with its versatility. I am sure that with the G20 in use, many jobs around the depot will now be a lot easier.''

GGR offers a selection of pick and carry cranes available to hire or purchase which range from 2 to 25 tonnes in lifting capacity.
