John Taylor cranes buy a trio of Unic Cranes from GGR Group

Due to customer demand for this bestselling mini crane model, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire based John Taylor Crane Services has purchased three UNIC URW-295 mini spider cranes from GGR Group who are the master distributors of UNIC mini spider cranes in Europe.

John Taylor Crane Services was established in 1981 and started the mini crane hire branch of their business, JT Mini Cranes, in 2006 when they purchased their first two UNIC URW-295 spider crane models from GGR Group. Their fleet now includes a range of UNIC mini cranes up to 6 tonnes in capacity.

The 2.9 tonne capacity UNIC URW-295 model is the most popular of the smaller pedestrian operated cranes in the UNIC range. At just 600mm wide, the UNIC URW-295 can fit through a standard doorframe, making it ideal for both internal and external lifting operations. JT Mini Cranes chose this UNIC crane over the competing Maeda model which is 150mm wider, making it trickier to operate in restricted access environments.

The diesel powered UNIC URW-295 cranes can lift to a 9.8 metre height when fitted with the 700kg capacity combined fly jib and searcher hook. These UNIC mini cranes also include first class safety features including the latest top of the range Rayco Wylie i4300 SLI (safe load indicator) system which gives operator feedback on a high-resolution LCD screen.

GGR''s Technical Support Director Scott Ainsworth handed over the keys to Russell Taylor and his sister Julie Marshall who were delighted with the new additions to their growing fleet.

GGR Group have a range of UNIC mini spider cranes available to purchase or hire, ranging from 0.995 tonnes to 10 tonnes in capacity.
