Gimatic recently introduced a demonstration bench for the pharmaceutical application "Vial Barcode Reading."
After the filling process, the vials are handled by a gripper kit with a Plug&Play self-centering two-finger linear electric gripper, protected by medical-grade silicone. This kit is designed to operate in clean room environments (ISO04 and GMP-Grade A/B), ensuring maximum safety and sterility.
A low-speed electric rotating gripper with rotation within the required angles moves the vial for subsequent barcode scanning. This gripper is ideal for gripping and rotating small objects in laboratory automation.

Fully Electric Rotary Gripper
- Gimatic fully electric rotary gripper module is ideal for gripping and rotating small objects in laboratory automation. It can be used also to open Vials, Syringes handling.
- Very slow rotation speed, less than 100 rpm
- Infinite rotation angle or rotation within required angles
