Golden Laser and MetaQuip Advance Laser Safety with a Modular Welding Cell

Designed for Class 4 laser applications

For manufacturers, this means that introducing laser processing is not only a question of selecting the right laser source, but also of creating an appropriate and controlled working environment.
The Modular Laser Welding Cell provides a dedicated, enclosed workspace for these applications. Instead of permanently modifying an entire workshop, manufacturers can install a modular laser-safe working area within their existing facility.
The cell is designed to work with both laser welding and laser cleaning, enabling manufacturers to use one protected workspace for different processes. Modular design for changing production requirements

The cell uses modular panels and is available in standard configurations of 2 × 3 m, 3 × 3 m and 3 × 4 m, with customised layouts available for larger workpieces, specific production environments or material-handling requirements.
The modular concept allows the workspace to be adapted as production requirements change. Additional panels, different door positions and customised dimensions can be considered, while extraction, filtration and lighting can also be integrated into the working environment.
This makes the solution particularly relevant to manufacturers with limited floor space, changing production layouts or multiple laser applications.

The Modular Laser Welding Cell is designed around the practical requirements of industrial laser processing.

1. One workspace for laser welding and cleaning
A major benefit of the joint solution is the ability to use the same enclosed workspace for laser welding and laser cleaning.
Laser welding can be used for materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminium, titanium and brass. Laser cleaning can remove rust, paint, oil and other surface contaminants without the use of chemicals or blasting media.
