HYDROGEN TRANSITION

EU's new strategic asset

The World Economic Forum predicts that by 2050, global energy demand will be about 40% higher than today.

Hydrogen is set to make a return to the mainstream as the international community seeks to respond to the world’s energy and climate challenges.

Hydrogen is a clean, low-carbon energy resource to meet the world’s energy needs, replacing traditional fossil fuels and forming a substantial part of a clean energy portfolio.

Although hydrogen has been traditionally used as a feedstock in several industrial processes (such as ammonia synthesis and the refining of crude oil), recent developments have shown that hydrogen can also be used for a number of applications, including electricity generation, transportation and storing energy from intermittent renewable sources.

GroupATP has been involved in the Hydrogen transition, supplying technology and equipment for hydrogen purification from syngas or other streams and small-scale hydrogen generation by electrolysis.
