With the integrated coupling motor, the design length can be reduced with up to 65 % compared with traditional solid shaft technology. Weight can be reduced with about 50%.

The integrated coupling solution combines high performance servomotor solution with very compact design and low weight which gives a competitive advantage when designing complex automation solutions.

HDD's ICM servomotors are based on HDD’s innovative stator design and are available in both 92 mm and 140 mm frame size. The rated torque ranges from 2.5 Nm to 10 Nm. The motors can be supplied with or without brake.

The motors can be ordered with a variety of feedback systems, straight or angled connectors. It can also be supplied with additional pressurized air connection to prevent contamination of the inner parts of the motor.

A servo motor allows for precise control of speed and angular position. It consists of a motor with a built-in sensor for positional feedback. The drive uses the feedback sensor to precisely control the rotary position of the motor. HDD motors can be operated with most servo drives on the market due to the flexible design and large range of feedback options.
