AV&R choose HDD's high speed servo motor for their TF-X 1200 robotic system

AV&R in Quebec, Canada, is a manufacturer of robotic systems for surface finishing and visual inspection of manufacturing parts of different sizes, whether cast or forged.

Their robot system TF-X 1200’s specificity is to handle one or several process tools, allowing to work on stationary parts. The robotic system can use a large variety of tools and reach difficult-to-access areas.

AV&R have now further developed their TF-X 1200 robotic system using HDD's high-speed and ultra-compact HDT09J servomotor.

The new version of the TF-X 1200 uses the HDT09J servo motor for applications that need either high torque at low speed, and/or using large sanding pad, and/or need particularly tight reach between pieces.
