Application diversity with the inspekt table 100 kN
Croatian university tests with universal testing machine from Hegewald & Peschke
The Faculty of Metallurgy University of Zagreb purchased the Universal testing machine inspekt table 100 kN, Hegewald and Peschke. The equipment will be used as a tensile testing machine for tensile tests on flat and round specimens, connection and thread specimens as well as shoulder head specimens. Compression tests and hardness tests according to Brinell can also be carried out with a manual evaluation unit. With the extended universal testing machine with high-temperature furnace, tests according to ISO 6892-2 up to 1250°C are also possible.
Since the machine has two load cells, large, heavy components can be tested as well as small components without sacrificing accurate resolution. For higher resolution, the smaller loadcell is installed. The large load cell remains in the testing machine for this purpose, thus enabling a time-saving conversion.
