HEINRICH KIPP WERK has added new detectable operating parts to its product range. There are visually detectable and metal detectable products available. They are designed for the foodstuff industry to help prevent major downtimes in the event of potential contamination occurring in the production process.
Visually detectable operating parts are coloured ultramarine blue similar to RAL 5002. The reason: the colour blue is rather untypical in the foodstuff sector, so that these products or parts of them can be easily identified when they come into contact with food. In addition, these operating parts meet increased hygiene requirements - e.g. due to its closed grip contour with a smooth surface, the palm grips are very easy to clean.
The metal detectable operating parts go one step further. Their components can be detected by means of induction technology. This is helpful if entire or fragments of operating parts accidentally gets into the production process. Special detection systems can reliably select out the foreign bodies in these cases, even if they are invisible to the naked eye. Fragments from 0.027 cm³ (ca. 3x3x3 mm) can be detected and the effected items ejected, so that no large production quantities have to be disposed of.
All detectable operating parts from KIPP are made of EU10/2011 and FDA compliant fibreglass-reinforced thermoplastic, the inserts are made of 1.4404 stainless steel. The maximum operating temperature is 120° C. There are pull handles, wing grips, star grips, palm grips, knurled knobs and clamping levers available.
