The fire risk monitor is an instrument dedicated to provide an alarm signal (closing a circuit) on raise of the temperature. The response time is lower than 15 secondes. The technology used is a bimetal thermostat Vigitherme M16 chosen at a temperature considered as an indication of risk of fire (max 180°). This instrument includes a mounting support and a silicon cable, without halogenous, answering to the most used norms in the field of fire suppression.

This Vigitherme provides a safeguard against any exagerated heating in various devices such as cars, trucks, bus, locomotives or ships.
