HellermannTyton has developed a range of RFID fixing flanges, including an embedded RFID (radio frequency identification) chip that stores even more information than a barcode, a feature that makes it possible to reliably identify machines and parts, among other applications of this product line.

This also means that, for example, it is possible to accurately track which employee has installed which component, with which properties, in which factory and on which day.

Thanks to RFID flanges, these data can be accessed without contact, using the appropriate RFID reader. In addition, this data can be entered and modified using conventional computer systems and software.

In this way, the flanges perform three functions simultaneously, acting as a tag, information carrier and cable clamp. This represents an innovation in the field of fastening in Industry 4.0.

In general, RFID cable clamps stand out for simplifying and optimizing component tracking processes, managing tools and inventory, and functioning as a high-strength identification system.

These flanges are available in Standard, Detectable (with metal content) and Stainless Steel versions.
