The Herrmann-map is filling up with red dots after two more successful openings in Malaysia and Brazil
More than 50 visitors attended the technology days at the new tech-center in Shah Alam (Malaysia) on June 16th and 17th, 2015. Workers at the building had labored into the morning hours to finish up the premises. Some visitors drove up to seven hours to the event and were rewarded with new insights on the fundamentals of ultrasonic welding for plastics. In Brazil people also drove far to attend the opening of the new Herrmann tech-center in Indaiatuba on August 11th and 12th. A total of 45 visitors came, some even by plane from Southern Brazil and Santiago de Chile. Ultrasonic welding workshops and hands-on weld trials impressed the attendees while a spontaneous fun-dinner on the evening of the second day definitively showed the South American spirit of the latest Herrmann endeavor.
To be opened shortly are the tech-centers in Austria, Spain, and Italy. Including the four headquarters in Germany, USA, China, and Japan, this will increase the number of Herrmann locations to 25 worldwide.
