Wellness Senohraby – A Challenging Project with a Clear Goal
The well-known Wellness Hotel SEN in Senohraby built the largest outdoor whirlpool in the Czech Republic, with a total volume of approximately 150 m³. The goal was to ensure reliable year-round water heating with maximum energy efficiency and minimal operating costs.

Our Solution: Stainless Steel Tube Heat Exchanger JAD X
To meet the heating needs, we designed and delivered the fully stainless-steel HEXONIC heat exchanger JAD X 12.114.08.50 FF.PRO.SS, which fulfilled all the demanding requirements:

Output: 250 kW

Primary circuit: heating water 80/60°C, max. pressure drop 10 kPa

Secondary circuit: pool water 37.5/40°C, flow approx. 80 m³/h, max. pressure drop 5 kPa

A key requirement was to ensure a low pressure drop to avoid the need for an additional booster pump and reduce operating costs. Another criterion was the compact size of the exchanger to fit into the existing plant room.

Result: Perfect Operation in Any Weather
Thanks to close collaboration with the design team and installation company, we achieved an optimal configuration of the heat exchanger.

The thermal outdoor pool with whirlpool benches now operates year-round. The water temperature adapts automatically to the outdoor conditions:

Winter: 35–37°C

Summer: 30–33°C

Both the investor and the implementation team are highly satisfied with the solution. Although a backup electric heater was installed, it has never been activated — the HEXONIC exchanger has always met the heating demand on its own.
