New Heat Exchangers for a Modern District Heating System

Thanks to advanced engineering solutions and precise thermal calculations, they ensure stable operating parameters even under significant load fluctuations in the network.

The new heat exchangers have been designed and manufactured with a strong focus on reliability, energy efficiency, and operational safety of the entire system.

Two heat exchangers with capacities of 14 MW and 14.5 MW are now on their way to our client! These units will become the heart of a new district heating system, replacing the existing equipment that has served the local network for many years.

Our work on the project included:

- performing thermal calculations and selecting equipment to achieve optimal performance,

- preparing complete technical documentation,

- manufacturing and testing the equipment in compliance with all quality requirements.

Every step — from the initial design to the final product — was carried out with the utmost precision and in close cooperation with the client. This approach allowed us to deliver the solution on time and exactly according to the client’s expectations and project specifications.

This project is a great example of how Hexonic’s engineering expertise supports the development and reliability of modern energy systems. It also demonstrates that precise planning, an experienced team, and full commitment from all project participants are key to success.

Latest Project: Evaporator for ORC Systems

We proudly present our latest project — an evaporator for Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) systems. The unit is equipped with an integrated demister (droplet separator) that ensures the correct dryness of the working fluid at the outlet, further improving the efficiency and performance of the entire energy recovery process.

Corrugated process tubes of our own production – providing higher heat transfer efficiency,

Compact design – tailored to the requirements of modern energy systems.

ORC systems enable the efficient conversion of waste heat or low-temperature sources into electrical energy. They are commonly used in:

- geothermal power plants,

- industrial facilities utilizing waste heat recovery,

- cogeneration units,

- industrial heat pumps supporting decarbonization processes.
