Aerial platforms for tree pruning

Tracked access solutions for tree care applications

Tree pruning activities often require access solutions that allow operators to work at height while maintaining control and accuracy during cutting operations, particularly on tall trees and in complex environments.

Tracked aerial platforms are commonly used in tree care applications to support pruning work where ground conditions, reach requirements and positioning accuracy play a central role. Their ability to operate on uneven terrain and to provide vertical and horizontal outreach makes them suitable for a wide range of pruning scenarios.

Within Hinowa’s range, the Lightlift 40.18 is applied in tree pruning activities requiring extended working height and outreach. The machine offers a working height of up to 40 m (35 m with 230 kg capacity in restricted area) and a horizontal outreach of up to 17.5 m, allowing operators to access different sections of tall trees from a single setup position.

The tracked undercarriage supports machine positioning on various ground conditions, while the control system allows coordinated movements of the platform during pruning operations. The Lightlift 40.18 is also used in other applications such as building maintenance and installations, reflecting its adaptability across different jobsite requirements.
