Hannover Messe: We present high-precision motion and positioning systems

Experience cross tables and gantry live

At this year's Hannover Messe (HMI), we will be presenting six drive solutions in the field of high-precision motion and positioning systems. The precision cross tables and precision gantry are at the centre of our trade fair participation this year.

The systems are always used when, in addition to high absolute and repeat accuracy (in the range ±0.5 µm to ±2 µm), the straightest possible movement (straightness and flatness in the range 5 - 50 µm/ 300 mm) is required. For example, in high-precision inspection systems, laser micromachining, in high-speed pick-and-place machines or in large-format dispensing or parts testing. "We design our precision systems in a kind of modular system," says Werner Mäurer, Managing Director of HIWIN GmbH. "This standardisation saves our customers time and money in engineering and still gives them a wide range of options and customer-specific adaptations." We have long been known as more than just a component manufacturer. We use our own drive components for our comprehensive positioning and motion solutions. "Visitors to the trade fair are cordially invited to visit our stand and see our motion and positioning systems for themselves. We will be presenting the entire range, from components to ready-to-install systems," says Werner Mäurer, looking forward to this year's HMI trade fair.

The precision systems can be seen live at the trade fair in Hanover from 22 April 2024, along with numerous other exhibits. We will be exhibiting at the HMI in Hall 7, Stand D32.
