ODR 1"On Demand Regulator"

ODR 1 Gas On Demand!

Hornung presents the new ODR 1

Hornung GmbH has brought its technical know-how to bear in order to create a new user-oriented product line.

High-quality pressure regulators for industrial gases and high purity gases, developed and manufactured in-house,

have represented the company‘s diverse product range for decades.

Hornung GmbH makes full use of this experience in the development of an innovative new product.

The ODR1 „On Demand Flow Regulator“ will form the basis of a product family in the future, which facilitates the dosage of up to 5.0 pure gases considerably.

These test or operating gases are primarily used in laboratories and certified testing laboratories for calibration of measuring instruments, as well as for calibration or adjustment of test systems. This is where the new „On Demand Flow Regulator“ of Hornung GmbH steps in.

The ODR 1 is designed for test gas cylinders with 12 bar inlet pressure. It controls the on-demand flow rate of up to 3 litres of analysis gas per minute at an opening vacuum of between 10 and 15 mbar.

Optimum operational reliability is guaranteed by a high-precision adjustment option. The built-in pressure gauge has an accuracy of class 1.6. The regulator is equipped with an exchangeable connection adapter, this is designed in such a way that it can be used when putting on and taking off the pressure regulator minimizes the resulting gas loss.

High-quality sealing materials fulfil far more than just the state of the art.

The vacuum can can be rotated through 360 degrees to prevent the extraction hose from buckling.

Further „On Demand models“ for an inlet pressure up to 200 bar also in stainless steel, for aggressive and corrosive gas mixtures are already in planning.

Conclusion:

The ODR 1 is a product innovation from Hornung GmbH and was developed for the fast and easy execution of

calibration and analysis tasks.

The ODR 1 only delivers the exact amount of gas required for the process. This process has the following advantages:

- Extraction of the exact gas quantity required for the process, without wasting gas.

- The costs for calibration tasks are reduced.

- There is no need for an additional shut-off valve or a sampling bag.

- Calibration and analysis tasks become simple and user-friendly.
