New CNC Boring Head

HSD adds a new Boring Head to the standard range.

The new Head has an extremely versatile composition which includes 18 vertical spindles (7 on the Y-axis and 12 on the X-axis) + 4 horizontal spindles (2 on the Y-axis and 2 on the X-axis).

The oval (instead of round) cylinders guarantee a high boring force, up to 460N, for optimum precision during panel machining.

High machining speed: the horizontal spindles reach 4,740 rpm, while the vertical spindles reach 6,000 rpm, thanks to the helical gears and improved greasing system that increases the reliability and working life of the Head.
