Partnership agreement signed for Wi-care ™ distribution in South Korea

During the Belgian Royal Economic Mission in Korea, which took place at the end of March 2019, Fabrice Brion, CEO of the I-care group, and Bo Kyun Kim, CEO of BF Engineering, signed a partnership agreement for the distribution of the Wi-care™

The formalization of an already existing collaboration

I-care and BF Engineering have known each other for several years. BF Engineering, which specializes in the 4.0 integration of industrial companies in the Korean market, has actively participated in the KC certification process for Wi-care ™ wireless sensors developed by I-care. The signing of the distribution agreement is the officialization of this collaboration and the starting point of a commercial development in the Korean market.

C & KCs certification: a commercial starting point

KC (Korean Certification) and KCs are the Korean equivalents of the international CE and IECEx standards. The first (KC) is essential for the distibution and sales of electrical or electronic products on the Korean market. The second (KCs) is a very strict regulation applied to products used in hazardous locations (with explosive atmospheres). These KC & KCs certification of our Wi-care ™ wireless sensors and transmitters are essential to gain access to the Korean Maintenance 4.0 market.

South Korea: a promising market

Already having activities in the Korean market, I-care hopes, thanks to this distribution contract, to boost the commercial development of its Maintenance 4.0 solution.
