BASIC strobe now joins the wide range of innovative lighting solutions. This new product series builds on the familiar benefits of the budget-friendly BASIC lighting. Thanks to its smart design with minimal mechanical edges, highly flexible 3D cable outlet and low net weight, the BASIC strobe lighting is destined for use in moving systems and under the most confined installation conditions. The slim aluminium housing without recesses or cooling fins is easy to clean and IP64 protection makes it ideal for use in harsh industrial environments.
Flash times from 10 µs to 750 µs in one device – that’s what BASIC Strobe can do
The BASIC strobe series can be operated using an external third-party controller or the new BFC1 controller that includes the latest evolutionary stage of the high-performance LUMIMAX® strobe technology. The controller and light communicate with each other ensuring an optimum supply of electric current to the light field even at cable lengths of up to five metres. Brightness levels of up to 800,000 lux can be generated that way. Flash times from 10 µs to 750 µs are possible in one device using the BFC1. Depending on the mode selected, flash times of 10 to 100 µs at 100 Hz, 20 to 220 µs at 35 Hz or 50 to 750 µs at 10 Hz can be set. This saves time and money, especially in applications that would normally require system conversion and stocking of spare parts for different flash modes. Instead of three devices, only one is needed. With this new system, LUMIMAX® is creating flexibility for its customers that is unrivalled in this price category.
The BASIC strobe lighting is available as area (BF series) and ring lights (BR series). LUMIMAX® is thus ensuring that suitable lighting solutions are available for the most common areas of application. The BF series offers five light field sizes from 25 mm x 25 mm to 200 mm x 200 mm, while the BR series has four sizes with outer diameters of 50 mm to 200 mm. The BASIC lighting will soon also be available as bar lights.
