Industrial Scientific Introduces iNet® Now Live Monitoring Software

iNet Now helps teams to monitor gas detector status and location in real time.

Industrial Scientific is pleased to announce that iNet® Now Live Monitoring Software is now

available. iNet Now allows teams to monitor instrument status and location from any internet-connected device, from anywhere in the world, in real time. Get highly configurable text and email alerts when a worker encounters a gas hazard, activates a panic or man-down alarm, and more. iNet Now allows teams to see and respond to incidents as they happen.

With iNet Now:

- View a live map to pinpoint workers’ location and view their status, eliminating the cost and

time it takes to complete manual check-in processes.

- Use automated alerts to know the instant a hazardous condition occurs then quickly deploy the

appropriate resources with a detailed understanding of the situation.

- Connect small teams together while watching over them remotely. LENS™ Wireless connects Ventis® Pro Series personal monitors and Radius® BZ1 Area Monitors and can share gas readings and alarms locally. iNet Now also allows data from the entire team to be accessible from any internet-connected device. Know what’s happening across several job sites while working in a command center, office, or on the road.

iNet Now consists of three components: (1) Ventis Pro Series Multi-Gas Monitors that communicate via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to an (2) Android or iOS smart device which, in turn, passes their information on to the(3) iNet Now Live Monitoring Software in the cloud. Once there, iNet Now generates alerts and presents that information on any web-enabled device.

All Ventis Pro Series instruments shipping new from Industrial Scientific, and those with firmware version 2.3 and higher, are iNet Now capable. To upgrade your Ventis Pro firmware, dock the instrument on a DSXi or iNet DS Docking Station or contact your local Industrial Scientific Service Center for assistance.

To turn your smart device into a gateway to transfer data from a Ventis Pro to iNet Now, the iNet Now Sync app will need to be installed. One smart device can act as a gateway for a virtually unlimited number of instruments, and no binding or pairing is required. The app can be downloaded free of charge from the Google Play or Apple stores and works on most modern smart devices. For a complete list of compatible devices, visit www.indsci.com/inet-now-sync-devices.

iNet Now can be used independently of, or integrated with, existing iNet® Control accounts. No hardware installation or local IT support is required. To create your iNet Now account and activate equipment to be monitored, visit www.indsci.com/activate-inet-now or contact your local Industrial Scientific representative or an authorized distributor. For additional information, visit us on the web at www.indsci.com or contact your local Industrial

Scientific representative.
