Parallel clamp mountings for precise adjustment
INOCON, the specialist for standardized assembly components, is expanding its range - with a clamp mounting series for particularly fine adjustment.
The PARALLEL CLAMP MOUNTING WITH ADJUSTING SPINDLE was developed especially for the construction of measuring or testing equipment, enabling fast and precise two-stage adjustment of sensors, load cells or position stops.
The principle is simple but very efficient. The aluminium clamp mountings connect two parallel rods and ensure that they can be moved relative to each other.
For coarse adjustment in the millimetre range, all that is needed is to loosen or fix two neighbouring clamping points, which can be equipped with clamping screws or adjustable hand levers. The rod can now be moved quickly over greater distances, and the pre-positioning is supported by a longitudinal scale lasered directly onto the rod or tube.
For fine adjustment in increments of a tenth of a millimetre, two clamping points are released crosswise. Spring-loaded and therefore free of backlash, the adjusting wheel moves the clamping holders relative to each other by turning them along the thread pitch. Thanks to an intelligently designed knurled graduation, the adjustment travel can be read off precisely in 0.1 mm increments on the adjusting wheel circumference during fine adjustment.
Extremely flexible in use: By twisting one of the two clamp mountings and or swapping the clamping elements, a wide variety of requirements can be easily taken into account during installation. Clamping itself is carried out as standard either using two cylinder screws in different colours or without tools using two adjustable hand levers. Adjustable hand levers can be ordered separately as accessories if required.
With this parallel clamp mounting INOCON is once again expanding its range of standardized assembly components. Because all elements have identical drilling patterns, cross-sections and drives, they can be seamlessly combined with each other - even in complex arrangements.
