EBW-L100 from INSYS icom: Cost-efficient LTE industrial router available as of January 2015

A fully functional industrial router for DIN rail installation, the EBW-L100 features the proven, Linux-based INSYS operating system, VPN functionality (OpenVPN, IPsec, GRE), a stateful firewall, and further security features such as RADIUS authentication. Like all INSYS icom routers, it can be configured via browser or command line interface (CLI). EBW-L100 units support quick starts for easy integration into the INSYS Connectivity Service VPN network service.

"The EBW-L100 router fulfils all requirements regarding industry-suitable LTE communication while providing the stability and reliability INSYS products are known for", says Heiko Noll, product manager at INSYS icom. "This includes reliable access to the customer application through autonomous operation with connection checks on different levels including automatic recovery."

At this year''s SPS IPC Drives exhibition in Nuremberg, Germany, INSYS icom will present the EBW-L100 in hall 7, stand 201. Like last year, the company will showcase new technologies for efficient M2M communication together with partners from the "Excellence in M2M" network – Telefónica, m2m-soft, Device Insight, Wireless Logic, and secunet. The router is expected to be available in January 2015.
