IREM voltage stabilizer for railway signaling

To guarantee the control equipment of the railway network constant protection from electrical disturbances on the infrastructures, an IREM voltage stabilizer model MINISTAB M211XP6-XLM was used.

The function of the voltage stabilizer is to cancel voltage variations and filter disturbances, guaranteeing a high level of Power Quality to the equipment intended for the electronic detection of the “safety profile” of railway trains.

Specifically, the safety profile, also called “structure gauge”, allows trains not to hit fixed obstacles on the railway line or infrastructures such as tunnels.

The presence of the voltage stabilizer is therefore essential to ensure that the protection system works optimally and allows trains to proceed safely on the line.

Furthermore, the MINISTAB M211XP6-XLM has been designed to operate in harsh environmental conditions, with temperature variations -20°C to +55°C.
