MABS, Multidirectional Angle Ball Sorter

BOOST YOUR SORTATION WITH THE MABS, THE MULTIDIRECTIONAL HIGH CAPACITY DIVERTER MODULE

To complement the already high performing and praised FRAT-NX diverter module, Itoh Denki developped a new diverter module that will bring a boost in throughput where it is the most needed in sortation lines. We called this new module the MABS, for Multi Angle Ball Sorter, and has it name hints it, the MABS relies on rotating balls to divert totes and products in mutliple direction and at different angles. The diverting angle can be easily set and changed to either 30°, 45°, 90°, both on the right and the left, with of course a straight exit upfront.

Powered exclusively by 24V dc high torque MDRs, the MABS inherits the philosophy of great compacity and simplicity of use and comissioning, while delivering market leading throughputs and keeping the products safe with smooth transfers. MABS modules are available in 5 different sizes and can be combined together, making it possible to handle a large variety of sizes.

MABS can be used in combination with FRAT-NX 90° diverters to create optimised diverter centric sortation lines, offering flawless and high capacity sortations at a reasonable cost.
