Many of these have a hearing aid or cochlear implant, which essentially works like an amplifier, increasing the volume of all nearby sounds. A hearing loop works in conjunction with a hearing aid or implant that has a telecoil, together tailoring the sound to each individual’s hearing loss. This cuts out all of the confusing background noise, allowing crystal clear, focused sound.

JR-IL-01 Induction Loop consists of an amplifier and the loop cable, which is a wire placed around the perimeter of a specific area. J&R telephone to act as an antenna that radiates the magnetic signal to the hearing aid.

J&R product is calls JR315 Public Emergency Telephone which has a built-in JR-IL-01 Induction Loop. The telephone was put into use at Manchester Airport in England in 2019.
