New stainless steel distance couplings
JAKOB Antriebstechnik now offers new stainless steel couplings as standard series. Including the WD-VA series of distance couplings, which is manufactured in the extremely easy-to-assemble split-hub design. Assembly and disassembly of the coupling is no longer a problem, even in confined installation conditions. The fixed hub halves are placed on the shaft and screwed with the loose half-shells. Especially in the case of fixed shaft journals, the service case can mean that the drive and / or output unit have to be dismantled in a complicated manner, which is thus dispensed with. Thanks to the stainless steel construction, it is also ideally suited for applications in the food sector. The WD-VA distance coupling is available in variable lengths up to 3m and offers a backlash-free torque transmission. It can also be used at temperatures of up to 350 ° C and includes shaft diameters of 9-90mm at torque ranges of 7-1000Nm.
