JAKŠA cryogenic solenoid valves with extended coil stem

As a complex assembly of different materials (Copper, steel, thermoplastic or duroplastic) the coil is sensitive to temperature fluctuations and moisture. Extreme operating conditions in cryogenic applications can therefore significantly shorten coil life.

Coil stem extension is one of the simplest and most effective ways of coil protection in cryogenic applications — the coil is distanced from the valve body and pipeline.

Coil stem extension is used in all JAKŠA cryogenic valves — now ranging in size from 1/2" to 2". This way the coils are much less susceptible to frost and condensate build up and will reliably operate much longer.

JAKŠA cryogenic solenoid valves are pilot-operated, with PTFE piston seals.

Valve design enables large flow rates with all cryogenic fluids at temperatures down to -196 °C and pressures up to 10, 15 or 20 bar, depending on valve size.
